G/Audigier
El pasado 3 de Noviembre Manfred y yo asistimos a un evento muy especial, la presentación de una nueva línea de gafas llamada G/Audigier que estará disponible a finales de este mes. Diseños originales y sorprendentes, que tienen un estilo clásico y delicado. Esta colección es un fresco relanzamiento de patrones que llevan existiendo por muchos años en los cajones polvorientos de la antigua fábrica de Gouverneur Audigier. Frédéric Ferrant, especializado en ventas internacionales y con experiencia en el mercado de gafas de lujo, y su socio Brice Maitre, diseñador y óptico, son los encargados de sacarle el brillo a este tesoro encontrado. Además todavía tienen muchos secretos guardados en la manga, como la línea exclusiva Clément Gouverneur, una colección más elegante en la que todavía están trabajando y que saldrá a la venta en unos meses.
Para dar a conocer este maravilloso conjunto de gafas, Frédéric y Anette Scholz, quien es también la diseñadora de la página web, prepararon una velada muy agradable. Y para ello contaron con la ayuda de la estilista Katharina Kraft, la fotógrafa Yvonne Most, que hizo las sesiones muy agradables y nos captó maravillosos, y el fotógrafo Felix Brokbals, que se encargó de las fotos del making off inmortalizando momentos preciosos. Os recomiendo sinceramente mirar sus portafolios, sus trabajos personales son deliciosos.
Fue un día tranquilo dónde un grupo de amigos, conocidos y desconocidos pudo participar en una maravillosa sesión de fotos. También disfrutamos muchísimo conociendo los diseños; probándonos todas las variantes de color y forma delante del espejo, intercambiándonos y aconsejándonos modelos entre nosotros, y por supuesto, haciendo nuevos amigos. El día se llenó de recuerdos y lo mejor de todo fue que realmente conocimos las gafas y nos relacionamos con ellas. Nos encantaron, tanto que incluso los que nunca hemos llevado gafas nos las dejamos todo el día puestas hasta que tuvimos que devolverlas a sus compartimentos en el maletín (casi estoy deseando que el medico me diga que necesito gafas para poder llevar un modelo que encontré y del que me he enamorado jajaja). Fue un día fantástico y muy divertido, una nueva experiencia para muchos de nosotros.

On 3rd of November Manfred and I went to enjoy a really special event: the presentation and photo shooting of a new line of glasses called G/Audigier which will be available in the end of the month. Original and surprising designs, which have a classic and delicate style. This collection is a fresh relaunch of patterns that have existed for many years in the dusty drawers of the old factory of Gouverneur Audigier. Frederic Ferrant, specialized in international sales and with market experience on luxury eyewear, and his partner Brice Maitre, optician and eyewear designer, are responsible for getting the shine of this found treasure. They also have another surprise which they are still working on and it will go on sale in the next months, the exclusive and elegant collection Clément Gouverneur.
Frédéric and Anette Scholz, who is also the website designer, prepared a really nice date to present this wonderful set of glasses. And for this event they had the help of the stylist Katharina, the photographer Yvonne Most, who made the sessions very nice and she caught us wonderfully, and the photographer Felix Brokbals, who was in charge of making off immortalizing precious moments. I honestly recommend you to take a look of their portfolio, their personal works are delicious.
It was a relaxed day where a group of old and new friends could participate in an amazing photo shooting. We enjoyed a lot knowing the designs, interchanging them and giving advice to each other about the models. Of course we also were making new friends. The day was filled with memories, but best of all was that we really met the glasses and we relate to them. We loved it so much that even those who have never worn glasses left them on all day until we had to return them to their compartments in the briefcase. I'm almost wishing that the doctor tells me that I need to wear glasses so that I can take a model which I felt in love with hehehe). It was a funny and great day, a new experience for most of us.
